Upper Mustang Motorbike Tour

DAY 01: KATHMANDU  1300M ALTITUDE

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and meet, assist and transfer to the hotel with our representative. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of the representatives from our agency.

DAY 02: KATHMANDU PREPARATION DAY

We will introduce you with guides and other crew including short ride around the city for 2 hours.

DAY 03: KATHMANDU TO POKHARA  900M ALTITUDE  200KM 5HRS RIDE

After Breakfast drive to Pokhara. It is 5 hours drive from Kathmandu. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 210km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambiance of peace and magic. Check in hotel, Evening enjoy walking along the side of Phewa Lake, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue Phewa Lake waters.

DAY 04: POKHARA TO TATOPANI  2600 M ALTITUDE 125 KM (5HRS RIDE)

After breakfast your adventure trip starts driving to Tatopani. It is a beautiful driving from Pokhara with lots of things to see on the way. Once we reach to the destination we stay in a lodge. The Road till Beni is good and then off road up to Tatopani we can enjoy natural hot water spring.

DAY 05: TATOPANI TO JOMSOM 2800M ALTITUDE  35KM (3-4HRS RIDE)

Though it is short distance ride with off road, you will have most adventurous trip today and reach to the most beautiful town named Jomsom where you will get all kinds of basic facilities from internet to coffee shop to small hotels. We will stay in a lodge. If you reach early then you will have option to drive to Dhumba lake- around 30 minutes, beautiful serene lakes just below the Himalayas.

DAY 06: JOMSOM TO TSHRANG (SAME TO VISIT TSHRANG)

From Jomsom to Tshrang is amazing trail. We will ride through Magical village of Upper Mustang from this day.We will overnight at Tshrang. Thsrang is ancient village and still looks like a medieval city. We will visit 600 years’ old monastery and Old places and fort.

DAY 07: TSHRANG TO LO-MANGTHANG. ( EXPLORE LO-MANTHANG)

Today, we ride to Lo-Mangthang with a magnificent view of Nilgiri, Tilicho, Annapurna I and Bhrikuti peak. The trail first descends to Charang Chu Canyon and then climbs steeply after crossing the river. Further the trail ascends gently to the 3,850m windy pass of Lo, from where you can see the Lo-Mangthang Valley. While descending to Lo-Mangthang, views of the walled city appear magnificent with its hills on the Tibetan Border. We stay at hotel for the overnight stop. Same day we explore the surrounding areas. Visit Namgyal Gompa and Tingkhar. Namgyal Gompa situated on a hilltop serves as an important monastery of the local community and also as a local court. After visiting Namgyal Gompa continue the tour to Tingkhar, the last main village to the northwest of Lo-Mangthang and stroll back to hotel. Or you may have another option to visit the Tall Champa Lakhang "God house" the red Thugchen Gompa, Chyodi Gompa and the Entrance Hall which are the main attraction of this town. Another attraction is the four- storey building of the Raja's palace as well as the surrounding panoramic views of the Himalaya.

DAY 08: VISIT CHOSHER CAVE AND BACK TO LO-MANTHANG.

Today we explore the Chosher village and Jong Cave where you can see the culture and living style of Lo- Manthang people from long time.

DAY 09: DRIVE LOMANTHANG TO MUKTINATH

From Lomanthang to Muktinath we have to drive in the morning around am because after 1 pm there will be strong wind which makes difficult to drive. On the way you may stop at Kagbeni – a very famous place from religious point of view and its unique location as well. From there you will start ascending to Muktinath. Muktinath Temple is one of the most important religious sites for Hindu pilgrimage. It is located in a very beautiful place

DAY 10: MUKTINATH TO TATOPANI 1200 M ALTITUDE 70KM (3HRS RIDE)

From today you will start descending towards Pokhara. Though it is the same way you return but you will stay in different location than last time. Tatopani means hot water and this place has a beautiful natural hotspring where you will take bath as long as you want.

DAY 11: TATOPANI TO POKHARA  120KM (4-5 HRS RIDE)-20KM OFF ROAD AND 100KM PITCH ROAD

Today your most adventure ride comes to end at a beautiful city Pokhara. You may take a tour around Lake City Pokhara. There are some beautiful sightseeing places. You may also do Paragliding or zip line or just relax in Hotel or around the beautiful lake.

DAY 12: POKHARA TO KATHMANDU

Return to Kathmandu which takes another 5 hours drive and your trip ends there.
