How to Get to Muktinath? Options for Muktinath tour package

1st option: Muktinath Tour By Road - 3 nights (Kathmandu - Pokhara - Jomsom - Muktinath)

Following the Prithivi Highway from Kathmandu, you can reach Pokhara, crossing Bedi, Tatopani, Ghasa, Marpha Jomsom, and Kagbeni; the next destination will be Muktinath. There is an option of taking a bus or Jeep from Kathmandu or Pokhara. You can choose any travel agency that offers the Muktinath Jeep Tour package if you don't want the hassle of booking buses and jeeps.

First Stop: The road of the Muktinath Tour that begins from Pokhara is quite comfortable. A night stay at Pokhara is what most travelers prefer as it is a tourist hub, and the facility of accommodation is available here, from cheap guesthouses to high-class five-star hotels. Besides this, shopping centers and restaurants near the lakeside are other attractions to entertain visitors.

Second Stop: The next stop of this trip will be Jomsom, lying at an elevation of 3734 meters from sea level is about 170km away from Pokhara. The road is fine for 100km from Beni and then rough for 70km to Jomsom. If you wish to visit Muktinath Temple on the same day, you can easily reach the temple, do some Pooja and even return to Jomsom. The duration of the trip is around nine hours.

You can make your trip the next day by catching a jeep after having a walk of around half an hour and then one and a half hour drive to Ranipauwa Jeep Station at Muktinath Temple. A hike of another twenty-five minutes from here will take you to the entrance of the temple. Once you reach the top, you can have Pooja at the temple and enjoy the surrounding views. You will have the option to stop at Beni or head back to Pokhara.

2nd option: Muktinath Tour By Flight - 1 night (Kathmandu - Pokhara - Jomsom - Muktinath) 

There is no direct flight from Kathmandu, so Jomsom airport is nearest to Muktinath Temple. So, first, you need to reach Pokhara and then take a trip to Jomsom. Flights to Jomsom are frequently delayed as the place is windy.

On the other hand, flights from Pokhara to Jomsom are operated only in the morning, so a night stay at Pokhara is compulsory. 

3rd option: Muktinath Tour By Helicopter - 1:30 hours (Kathmandu - Muktinath)

From Kathmandu, you can easily book Muktinath yatra by Helicopter. It takes around an hour and a half to reach Muktinath Temple from Kathmandu via Helicopter. There is a helipad at Ranipauwa, and half an hour of walk from here will take you to the temple.

4th option: Visit Muktinath By Trek - 7 nights
