Trip Overview

Kailash Mansarovar yatra is the spiritual journey to the Abode of Lord Shiva. Mount Kailash is not a destination; it's a journey.

Mount Kailash and the Kailash Parvat are supposed to be the destination of the spiritual hub of the world. Like Mt. Kailash, Lake Manasarovar is another purity set of pilgrimage that draws people from a different religions.

With its ideal peaks and Lake Manasarovar, Mt. Kailash is a lake of exquisiteness in the Tibetan mountain. The word 'manas' means mind, and 'Sarovar' refers to the holy lake, which we call the Lake of Consciousness. The sacred lake looks fascinating, particularly during the full moon day, and it occupies areas of 88 km in circumference. Also, the place is a religious center of different religions in Nepal, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Tibetan, pre-Buddhist animistic, and Jain. Taking a bath in the lake, Manasarovar is thought to purify all sins done in life.

Kailash Peak lies at an elevation of 22,022 ft. Lake Manasarovar, located at 14,954 ft, symbolizes pristine attractiveness and peacefulness, which is truly breathtaking and gives you the feeling of being one with Shiva. And the best time to visit Mount Kailash is from May to September.

Hiking Annapurna will design your itinerary as per your budget and schedule. We humbly request clients not miss the chance to go to Mount Kailash. Mansarovar Lake, Rakshas Tal, Khojarnath, Atmaa Lingam, Astapad, and Nandi Parbat are famous and exciting places to visit during the Kailash Yatra with us.

Facts about Mount Kailash Mansarovar

  • lazuli, gold, ruby, and crystal form four peak faces.
  • Lake Mansarovar is also believed to change different colors. It is clear blue near the shores and changes to emerald green towards the center.
  • Hinduism utters Mount Kailash, a crystal via Sanskrit; Kangri Rinpoche stands as a precious snow mountain for Tibetan Buddhists; Swastika Mountain for Bon followers; and Tirthankara for Jain.
  • Hindus and Buddhists developed the circular walk in a clockwise direction while Jain and Bon's minions peregrinate via an anti-clockwise movement.
  • It's surprising to discover hair and nails growing faster by a few millimeters throughout because it is considered the spot of the meteoric aging process.
